Overclock the swing bar?

    I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a 'power' area added to the full power end of the swing meter, anyone who played Links would know that you could go past the full power mark but if you didn't hit the snap it was likely you'd get a draw/fade depending where you missed the snap (ding)

    If this was applied to our swing meter (say 5 - 10 yards) you could put that little extra effort in, but missing the ding would also be more costly

    You'd have the decision, do I club down and not hit full power, or do I use the club thats closest and try for that extra 5 or so yards and hope i ding it

    I really wish they had the Links swing meter, much better than the one they have. It was nice not having to worry about the meter messin up one of your shots.

    I like the idea

    you wouldn't have to do it if you didn't want to but if you could use just a little extra umph to a shot you could risk it.   Missing the ding would have greater consequences.  Just as in real life,  if you go after it as hard as you can you have a slight chance at a great shot but have a better chance of an awful shot.
