believe me its not sour grapes but why do u choose to spotlight people whose stats just dont make sense.ive been on here since august and like many others i have spent my time and money to better my game.ive looked at recent spotlighted players stats and quite frankly it doesnt make sense.how can players be on here a relatively short time be shooting 41 42s etc for 9 holes and then suddenly start shootin 29s on a regular basis.do they suddenly have a cheats programme?a lot of people accuse the legends of cheating but imo they dont.they are just simply dedicated to the game.anyway my main gripe is that wgt carry on and on spotlighting the players who imo are cheating

It always amazes me the scores the "Hacks" are posting on the weekly tournaments,  The leader of one of the current tournaments is a member 5 days and has played 4 ranked rounds and leads the way with a 29, figure that one out

I had a random friend request from someone I did not know today.  I went to check him out before accepting.  He had just joined today, had played one ranked round today, and had shot a 32 at Kiawah with a saved replay of a just-missed eagle that kept him from a 31.

To me, that is all the grounds WGT needs to suspend the account pending investigation.  But what am I supposed to do, send them a screen shot of his profile?

I believe those spotlights are random. If you encounter someone who you think is breaking the rules, please email members@worldgolftour.com and we will investigate

I can see your point, but...only a but, it could be someone who has disabled their Legend/TM/M account and wants to start over.

I think the main thing to take away from the "spotlight" Hacks/ams...probably best not to accept a MPC invite from them ;)

My favorite story is .... i was looking for a match play game ... and bumped into a Hack ... so i thought ... new player .. i'll be nice and teach him the ropes.

The first thing he says is ... "Hi Lou .... haven't seen you in a while".

A bit stunned .. i looked at his account ... IT WAS HIS FIRST DAY !!!! ....... go figure ....

PS.  Don't ask me his name because i don't remember.   I just got the hell out of the game ... yes i QUIT !!!   Then i laughed for the rest of the night.

I'm sure the "Spotlight" Is controlled by a random number generator that spits out a Profile ID number and displays it on the main page and WGT has no way of controlling which profiles pop up there (of course if they wanted to they could override or disable the random number generator but it would be time consuming and a waste of a staff member). Noone is picking these people to hold the position. I'm also pretty certain that no WGT staff even pays attention to what profiles DO pop-up there, many times the actual admins and developers of any website never actually visit the website and usually look to their support team to find the bugs and errors. Also admins and developers usually just  check any updates and improvements they make on a test server and not the live server, again the live server is usually policed by the support staff.

The funny part is that one can start fresh but the game remains...that is to say, it is no better. The 'behind' still gets whipped, over and over again. Figures don't lie, but...you know the rest
