  The Adobe statement continues, “Specifically, we will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020 and encourage content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to these new open formats.”

   

  WGT is flash based. There would be zero sense in going through the motions of coding entire courses when flash will be dead within 2 yrs. The question becomes whether they have any interest in carrying on with the pc version of the game or continue to shift focus to the mobile platform.

  So...enjoy the game while it still exists.

  Adobe's statement doesn't mean flash games will cease to function.  It only means they will stop maintaining the flash platform.  WGT on PC will be quite playable after 2020, assuming WGT keeps it running.

  What do you mean by this? Is there an "open format" that would make WGT work? Is it possible to have the mobile platform be the same on a PC? 

  Not trying to be a wiseguy here, I'd really like to know. I see the way the mobile app works and need some brain to explain why that can't happen here.

  Just how I think.  With each post regarding Flash Player and 2020 and what TopGolf may do with the desktop version, I think the desktop version will be dropped.  I think every month TG is looking at players beginning on WGT and seeing that a very, very high percentage are playing the mobile platform and will never do the desktop version.  

  Things are changing and will only change more.  The desktop version that so many of us have loved for many years will go the way of wood shaft golf clubs and leather covered golf balls.

  And without really knowing the numbers because I know that there are many still signing into WGT.com to play the PC version.

  There's nothing about the mobile platform still that I can see is valid enough to replace this.

  the mobile version never gonna be nice like thisone (the screens just too small)

  Thanks for your post, which gives me an oppotunity to speak.  I've playing since Congressional 2011 and I'm bored out of my mind!  I don't care if new courses are Tru-Golf courses and we have to pay .60 to play them - just give us about 8 new courses!  I'm not asking for much from you people.  Keep the game fresh or start losing players.  Or maybe you think it's ok because new people discover this game everyday and that makes up for the loss of veteran players, but I think that's a horrible attitude for you to take concerning us vets. For all I've spent over the years playing this game I could have bought a PlayStation and a new golf game every single year and probably still be money ahead.  Will you wake up and help us, please??
