I believe somebody figured you could get 13 rounds in each "CC Event". But that's not to say a member clicked to play the next club immediately after their previous round ended too. I know we've had to wait up to 15 minutes before getting to play our next round so that might factor into the equation too. Just a thought.

Twelve should be the max if you start the first in the split second the Event begins, and then have not the slightest pause between the Clashes. Of course, possible only in theory. In praxis, eleven is the maximum imaginable.

CS once told me that an "impossible" number shown is just a display error - who knows?

Clearly this calls into question the integrity of the Club Clash events. Is the field even or not?

The management should answer that question. Especially with numerous examples being stated, by numerous clubs, that are upset by what they have seen, during numerous clash events.

Personally I've seen unexplainable won-loss records that are above the number of possible matches that can be played in 48 hours or in 8 hours etc.

My reaction has been to play the game and whatever is happening, is happening.  It's all part of what goes on, like it or not, it's life on WGT.

I've learned to not let anything regarding the site, playing the game, playing the clashes and other players bother me.

It comes down to player verses the course.  The heck with everything else.

This is accurate. 12 would be the max, but 11 is more likely. If you see a crazy W-L record, it is a display issue.

I'm a member of the top clashing country club and in the year that I've been there, we've never seen more than 11 clashes in the two day period.  We begin each one the second that it begins.  In fact, I would think that 12 is impossible, because as soon as you finish a clash and press the link to play the next one, there is a gap in time while it is searching for your next opponent.  Once the 11th clash is over, there is no way there will be 4 hours left for them to enter you in a 12th clash.

If you see someone with a 1-1 or 2-0 record only 4.5 hours into a clash, realize that you are recognized as having "won" a clash on the displays even when you are just winning one.  So that is what is likely happening there.

Yes, I understand about the "winning" vs. "won" issue. But what I'm seeing is right at the start when the match-up is announced and no one has played yet, so no one is "winning" the current match-up. Otherwise, good thought.

I have several screen shots of unusual results in the clashes. In this one our opponents had played 16 with time for two more. I have asked WGT for an explanation, but to no avail.

This glitch has been around a long time; not new. It means nothing

Thank you for stepping up and saying that.  I suspected the "strange" won-loss records during a clash sometimes, didn't reflect the accurate won-loss record of a club.

Glad you covered that base, I hope everyone can drop the subject.

Play and stop whining works good.

    Nonsense!

I once exited a clash round and (not sure what else I did but) it ended that particular clash after 2 1/2 hours.  Immediately the "Challenge another Club" marker came on screen.

I wouldn't surprise me at all if others have figured out how to make this happen consistently.  But calling it a "display error" is pure hogwash.
