  I had exactly the same problem.  I was just about ready to give this game up when I noticed on one of the forums someone recommending using the Comodo Dragon browser so I downloaded it. It has been spectacular.  No freeze ups and no meter hitching or jumping.  I'm still not a great golfer but it's not the games fault anymore and it is fun to play.

  I have the same issue. Meter over the past week is virtually un-playable!

  I've downloaded several Browsers and have gone to using Maxthon exclusively to play WGT. (That browser came highly recommended by lots.)

  This is a WGT issue that they just refuse to fix. *** Jelly Bean commercial plays perfectly!

  Over the last week both computers I play WTG on have had consistent meter jumping.  This both my work computer (lunch time fun) and my home computer.  Both are newish laptops that have never had issues with the game.  Now it seems both are having issues.  Meter jumping and this annoying pop up saying WTG is not responding message with a Kill page or Wait option.  This pops up on nearly every swing.. Rarely if ever saw it before the last week or so now it constant on both computers.  The timing of this leads me to believe this is a WTG driven issue.  I play nearly everyday but am starting to question if I will be able to continue.

  I playd a skins challenge game for credits, I then won 5 skins, and I received NONE of the credits, rectify in a timely manner or I will forgoe this site moving forward.  You rake a ton of money, no need to lean on a "glitch" to steal more.  My history wil show I 'm tremendously loyal to this site, but I will not tolerate ignored concerns.

  I think where WGT shows wind...then it should come into play on all shots...NOT just when

  WGT feels like it should come into play...2nd...IF you have a long uphill putt...and you come

  up short...then please explain to me how in the hell can it be downhill on the next attempt???

  Last...I'm getting real tired of "floating balls"...Balls that seem to float right over the hole, then continue on 2or 3 feet past the cup...

  I have gone into my country club to see what the standings are and an advertisement is sitting on top of the options to view tournament results.  Pleas move the advertisement back up to the top of the page.

  I don't moan very often but tonight was flying in the monthly par 5 game when I reached hole8, then not just t1ts, but everything went up!, first meter jump forweeks led to a lost ball, 2nd drive hit way late into the crap, when igot to the green meter jumped like a kanga on a pogo stick to miss a short putt, all I can say I ballocks

  I've done all that  not only on wgt.com but facebook as well the game screen will not load proper and I believe it's because of all the sponser ads interfering with the game. We spend more time in the lobby waiting for other players to reconnect and lose players in the game. The problem lies with wgt itself I've been to the forum everyday looking for answer to this problem. Something needs to be done in the multiplayer games so we can enjoy playing the game. Not everyone is computer literate and emails should be sent out to every player explaining how to configure their browsers or what browser is best to use. When I first started playing this game wgt had a big promotion going on for Google Chrome. But there are better browsers to use now. I still say WGT ought to fix the game for multiplayers because I don't have that problem unless someone quits the game . My browser shut down because of it.
