The Country Club of Atlanta - status

  It's been a while since The Country Club of Atlanta had several spots available. But we had a handful of members who hadn't played a round on WGT at all within 2 months, so we've opened up some spaces.

  If you are interested in joining an exciting and dynamic club, with:

  - monthly club "all play" tourneys for REAL WORLD PRIZES and Pro Shop prizes

  - cross-club play

   - innovative proprietary leveling systems so that everyone can compete on an "even field" in some tournaments, while competing via normal WGT rules in others

  - fun and social members

  ...then please request an invite to our club on WGT or by posting in this thread.

   

  PLEASE BE AWARE:

  - we no longer accept members who are brand new to WGT. Score history will be investigated on a case-to-case basis before member approval.

  - in the interest of maintaining an active club, we have a very fair set of activity rules which will be messaged to potential members prior to approval.

  Just wanted to give you guys considering joining CCOA my personal experience as a Member of CCOA.

  *Take it from someone who has been in quite a few CC over the last year.

  Not even one CC I was in came remotely close to the organization we have here ( and they all claimed to be active and organized) .

  Jay has something special going on here and I consider myself fortunate to be a part of it.

  I would encourage anyone who is looking for a fun, fairly tiered, and competitive CC to strongly consider our Country Club.

  I love this club. It is well managed and the tourneys are fun and challenging. The members are great folks. If you want a club that is competitive but easy-going, then this is the place.

  Looking forward to joining.  I just accepted the rules and plan to play a lot of golf.  Keeping my eyes open for the invite.

  Slots are going pretty fast. I have a couple left.

  Anyone who has been on WGT for at least a few months, and is interested in remaining active and participating in tourneys for the best real-world and pro shop prizes on WGT, please request a slot before they're gone!

  Been a member of CCOA over 6 months now... Jay is a great club manager... CCOA always has two or three tournaments going on, plus at least 1 big monthly tourney with great prizes.  Many members also contribute to those prizes to increase there numbers and insure everyone from hack to legend has an opportunity and a chance to win one.... Its not always the best round or best golfer that takes the cake.... If you join our club you will be welcomed and encouraged to participate.... The club is only as good as the members who play, talk on the forums, and just plain have fun with each other!!!!! So  as great a club as we are, come join us, participate, and make us better!!!

  Jay If you have a spot open I would be interested in joining.  I am currently a Master with 67.58 avg.  I do get on WGT every day at least to keep streak going and usually play a few rounds once or twice weekly. 

  I do not know if we need to be in the area of Atlanta or not as I am on the other coast.  I look forwards to your response.

  86Cougar (and others who were waiting for a slot) - 

  I do have just a few slots available, having just completed a purge of inactive members. Our club has solid rules about member activity, which ensures the best participation we can get for a fun virtual game like this. :)
