Opening recruitment up again for The Country Club of Atlanta (CCOA).

If you've been playing for at least a couple months, and want to know what a great club can provide, you'll love the CCOA:

    - We just celebrated our one year birthday (April 2010)!

    - We have members from all levels (well, from Amateur to Legend!)

    - We have an internal club "ladder" where you can compete monthly to gain positions, prestige, and prizes

    - We have special monthly "all play" tournaments with various themes and prizes (for example, in May, we'll all be playing some rounds with only starter equipment for fun)

    - We do cross-club play with other clubs to expand our networking, and we're always open for more

    - Social networking on our external website, Skype, club forum, etc.....

    - user-created tournaments all the time

    - and more!

If you're interested: friend me, leave a message here, request an invite on the club page, or even leave a message on my profile.

Look forward to seeing you on the greens playing for the CCOA!

    Jay

Just welcomed in two new members, and expect a couple more to join. If you want a slot in The Country Club of Atlanta, please request it soon before we're full again. :)

    Best,

    Jay

We had a few great new members join, but I also dropped a couple of members due to our inactivity rules.

If you'd like a slot, please send me a friend request, request an invite on our club page on WGT, or reply here.

NOTE - our internal ladder May challenge week is beginning on Saturday, and our May major is soon, so act quickly to join and have your name added for our challenges.

    Hi all,

We have a handful of slots available for the first time in a while, so I thought I'd officially post notice here.

Please send me an invite request OR reply to this thread if you're interested in joining our cozy and elite club. You can read more about us earlier in this thread, but here's a quick summary:

    - "Ladder" of ranked members who challenge each other for position & prestige

    - Monthly "All-Play" tourneys in many different formats, for pro-shop and sometimes real-world prizes (just awarded a $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate to our most recent winner)

    - Other free tourneys (or cheap, with payout) almost every day a year

    - optional cross-club play*

    - external website with visual calendar of events, optional Skype "room," etc.

(* NOTE - we are always looking for clubs to play for our cross-club matches, so reply if you're from another club and interested.)

Thanks, and hope to see some of you on the greens,

    Jay

    Hello again fellow WGT members!

It's been a while, but we now have a new set of slots available in The Country Club of Atlanta, so I thought I'd officially post notice here.

Please send me an invite request OR reply to this thread if you're interested in joining our friendly, "right-sized" club. We accept members of any level, tier, or average, but we usually only approve members with a couple months of WGT experience.

You can read more about us earlier in this thread, but here's a quick summary:

    - "Ladder" of ranked members who challenge each other for position & prestige

    - Monthly "All-Play" tourneys in many different formats, for pro-shop and sometimes real-world prizes

    Recent events included:

October alt-shot tourney, final match was broadcast live on the Internet!

November 2-round stroke + CTTH tourney

Hi Jay, I was in your club , and when I left, I was having problems with my game. I have improved my game, and also lowered my avg. Can members create tournaments? I live in Illinois, which is a wgt no gambling state. I am retired, and am very active, usually on everyday. I sent you a friend request. If you think I would fit in, let me know. Thanks,

    coolsenior(Dick).

Sure, members can create tourneys at any time. (Though, during the specific, always free, "all-play" events once a month, they're encouraged to play in the "all-play" instead of creating their own.)

Would be glad to have you back in the club, and will send an invite.

    Jay
