    This has been happening for a while, but many times a 100% GIR does not change the number in your awards list.

    Wouldn't have bothered posting, except that it's done that 3 times today. Still stuck at the old number.

    Just think if you played about 3K rounds @ 9 holes per round that equals about 27K holes

    divide the 27 GIR by 27K and you come up with .01 I dont think it would register enough to change your GIR. and thats just using a 9 hole per game average throw in a couple 18 hole rounds and the % will get even smaller.

    Siders,

    Thanks. I know that. That number creeps down.

    What I'm referring to is the number of 100% GIR rounds. That's the number that only seems to change about every third round I hit every green.

    @K7JBQ

    After I saw your post the other day, I checked mine each time I had a round of 100% GIR. It seems to be keep tracking fine. The number went up immediately after each round that was 100%.

    Bill, the truth is that GIR goes up extremely slowly. You need many many perfect rounds just to see it climb by 0.1 or 0.2.

    If I'm understanding him, he's not referring to the percent of GIR in the stats. He's referring to "The Dance the Floor" award which counts the number of rounds a person has had of 100% GIR for that round.

    In other words, that award counts rounds. For example, I currently have 837 rounds in which I had 100% GIR.

    That's the number that he's not seeing increasing when he completes a round  with 100% GIR.

    At least, that's how I understood his post.

    Robert.

    Thanks and yes, that is correct. And 837 rounds with 100% GIR is way above my pay grade. Congrats and excellent shooting.

    Not sure why the round wouldn't register. Did you have a fringe putt? Cause I think fringe will show as GIR on the scorecard, but not in the actual stats. I learned that, when I got my "bottom of the cup 18" (for 24 or less putts a round) award a short time ago. It said I took 25 putts on the scorecard, but I know one of them was from the fringe. It was obviously displayed as a putt, but not registered as such, cause I got the award for 24 putts or less.

    Yep, have had the same experience. Ever other stat in the awards list is working fine. For some reason, in my case, this one gets stuck. The last five 100% GIR rounds haven't moved the needle. Been going on for some time now.
