Mind you this was my first day back from vacation and my putting was horrible, but here's my first attempt at BPB Back 9 (the longer of the two) using mediocre equipment. I couldnt drain a putt to save my life for some reason, but it is proof that i atleast had a birdie putt on almost every hole and made 3.
I apologize if I came of as asserting that you were never going to get a birdie putt, ever. That's of course not true. However, there are 1-2 holes on each side that you just flat out won't be able to birdie unless you knock it in from the fairway or chip it in after you badly run the green.
Can you play it safe, lay up on those holes, knock it down for par, and still get a very decent score by playing your long irons well on the rest of the course? Absolutely.
That said, it's going to be extremely difficult to compete against the highest levels of competition who simply have more birdie opportunities than you do.
