Running a large established country Club I receive many messages ,  Recently members are discouraged with the current state of the game and concerned about the future of the game , For reasons I'm sure everyone is aware of , In the past I have been ask to submit ideas and recommendations for improvements , With the help of our members and some other owners and directors I sent them a list of things that would improve the game and make them money .

Maybe they ask me to submit something so I would shut up ?  It seems as if the game is designed for short term , After a couple of years or so you reach Champion level and that's it , Your done . No more levels and you probably have the best equipment , So what left ?

Sure you have made friends and play Alt. shot Etc.  My CC is the main reason I am still here , I love the game .

The Gift of Golf Foundation is something I look forward to every month .

The CC events (aka Clashes)  are very predictable , We all know how that will turn out.

Flash player may or may not be here in the near future ?

The 19th hole is gone .

We might get one new course a year ?

Many of us are Discouraged & Concerned .  I hope WGT can have a positive future but for now its pretty stale .

That's it for now my friends ,  I just needed to share some thoughts .  Keep it in the short grass and hit em straight .

Your concerns are legitimate. If something isn't bringing in the income, from the moment of inception, it appears that WGT doesn't care about improvements more often.

I think the real test will be whether or not we get Shinnecock this year.  If we get it, all's well.  If not, we're on a sinking ship.

From the mobile side of the game, we too have growing pains.  I have a cc, and find that it's hard to run it from the mobile platform.

We don't have the opportunity to play the alternate shot games, we play the clashs, and turf wars, strictly because they are a form of the  different game.  We can't play cabo, or whistler, they aren't available to us.

Country Club tournaments, are a limited run, we cannot set a game up using default settings, only from the tees.  Therefore the tourneys aren't truly fair to all tiers.  If I set default tees, the distances are fair, but I cannot set default green speeds, so is it fair to have tournament speeds for tour pros? Beginners won't play them, and if I set them slower, is it  a fair test for the upper tiers?  Upper tiers score better, giving lower tiers no chance of winning.

I've read many times on here, that mobile is the wave of the future, if so,  why haven't we been given many more, not less, options than pc platform?  As far as I know, we have less.

Owners tools are another problem, I can't even promote members to veteran status from a mobile device.  There are other small things, but you get the idea. Hope this sheds some light from the other side of the bridge.

+ 1000 to all of you.

I don't expect Shinnacock Hills, Because its not on Virtual Tour list. I don't use mobile because of what was stated. I can't run my club from it.

The game has become stagnate as CEverett12 pointed out, as an Owner all We can do is keep things interesting with Points tournaments, special tournaments and such.

Clashes are not something to keep players interested, it costs credits to some and its to long.

There are no new golf clubs anymore, past L-103. This is by far the greatest on line golf game and it needs to continue to evolve into an even greater game.

Basically I'm saying the same as the three of you.

    Your not alone

Cant you setup tournaments for masters only or legends and under etc. ??

I don't play on mobile(don't have the devices), but look how long it has taken them to put everything there is on the PC version.

Mobile is fairly new at this.  Careful with what you may be seeking.

It's probably much easier to blow up a mobile device the a PC

From what I have been reading, you are just now starting to see screwed up game updates.

So you feel that WGT has become boring? I have been playing around with the same woman for a good many years. (Actually more than I can remember) She is my wife. Am I going to stop just because there is nothing new in the future? Am I looking for more "courses" to play.?  Nope. What I am doing is playing the same games but with a refreshed mind set: appreciate what you have rather than complain about what you don't have. Positive attitude really does make life and WGT better!

We cannot separate the tiers, for cc tourneys.  So like I said it's really hard to run fair contests.  I have ran tourneys where I've requested that only certain tiers play, but you have to make it clear in the description boxes that only certain people play.

I've also ran tourneys where everyone was requested to use only starter clubs, or starter balls only.  If members don't reado the descriptions, then they don't know, and it screws the tourney.  May be an honest mistake, but tourney is ruined.

It's really hard for me to get alot of participation due to the contest being to easy, or to hard.  Hard to keep higher level tiers in cc, unless they just want to lower averages, then they move on.
