Golf with mrcaddie IRL- Spring 2018

  Hey everyone,

  Well it's that time of year again, time for our annual Spring golf outing IRL. Last year I met up with some of our fellow WGT'ers and we played at Bethpage and had a great time. This outing will be the fourth or fifth time we've gotten together and played and this year I'd like to invite you to join us.

  We are in the early planning stages right now, but here is what I can tell you so far-

  When-   Late April 2018 (maybe a Thursday/Friday or a Friday/Saturday)

  Where-   Cooperstown, New York area

  Possible Courses-

  - http://www.oneontacountryclub.org/home/

  Some of us might make this an overnight trip where we play one course one day and the other course the next day, but if there are any day-trippers out there that want to join us for one of the days...you're more than welcome to join us, we'd love to meet you.

  Keep in mind that none of us are scratch golfers, we shoot mid-eighties to mid-nineties...but we have a lot of fun.

  Again, we're still in planning mode, nothing is set in stone and we're open to suggestions.

  Looks like fun Sir . running a mapquest now to see drive time .

  edit  ,  looks to be a 7+ hour drive , that would be a day to drive up , night stay , day to play , night stay , day to play , night stay , and day to drive home for me . .could be a bit much .

  Dayum, I'm about an hour from there, same as Twinponds. Ain't much of a golfer IRL, but, could probably drink any one of ya under the table at the 19th. Birthday's the 25th. Gonna have to see how this plays out. Iffin' you ain't set on Cooperstown, let me know Wayne, we have alternative courses nearby , an' i may be able to hook ya up with a free stay @ my place., wife permitting, lol.

  Don't frequent here now much as it's pish but always like Wayne travels.

  How about...drive up, spend the night, play golf next morning and then drive home?

  You could always meet up with us for dinner after we finish our round on the first day. And thanks so much for the generous offer, very kind of you. I'll keep you posted.

  Also, Twinponds is in the loop, he's checking his calendar.

  That is something to think about Sir , Mind you I have not played IRL in over 10 years . But it would be a pleasure just to meet you and some other WGT,s and have some fun !

  Unfortunately, my Fridays and Saturdays are a no go during April/May. I may be able to make a Thursday round, I will check my last few Thursdays of April this afternoon and let you know.

  Here is another possibility for consideration, it has become the golf kingdom of Central NY over the last decade or so. Can be a bit pricey but championship caliber in all aspects. (I will probably shoot about a 120 on Atunyote or Shenandoah, lol.) Great casino too if that floats your boat.

  It's way too cool that i won a random draw prize pick, i don't want you spendin' your WGT ball money on postage. I'll PM you my UPS account # an' you can send it freight collect, iffin' that works for you. Let's try to make the face to face part happen, regardless :)

  Darn, That is a tempting offer, but from the middle of Iowa it would be a good drive just to get there.
