    Hi

i was wondering if anyone that knows the answer, to how to accurately aim off, for wind, directly from left or right,is willing to share that info.In other words how far left or right do you aim .Is there a proven method?

Now i can help myself around ,but still i cant get it worked out  perfect.Maybe there is not a perfect way,but any info would be appreciated.

maybe some of the legend guys can also give some advice

    thanks

there is no specific answer. just practice and estimate. it will also depend on your clubs/balls/type of spin you chose + few other elements

Try this, Estienne-instead of moving the aimer and guessing, miss intentionally into the wind.

In the picture I missed into a 16 crosswind without touching the default aim and this was the result....

    Gotta go with YJ here.

Right or left, I miss the ding at the line for 20 to 24 mph winds, and halfway to the line for 10 to 12 mph winds. It has about a 95% accuracy regardless of the type of ball I play. I do see some small variation if I use topspin or backspin, but it has little value to the shot.

surely its the other way around isnt it?  stronger the wind  halfay too the  line not  less wind,i  might be wrong here i wil try it.

     thanks

He means 1/2 the distance from a full miss, Busta. In the picture the arrow points to the first line past the ding (full miss.) 1/2 of that distance is what he correctly uses for winds that are more like 10-12 mph.

LOL @renniw (with his airplane notes.)  :-D
