The # in the center is a ding, #'s left or right indicate an early or late click respectively.

well what good does that do ,its not like you try to ding every time , most of the time you try to hit it late or early due to the wind , right? . Or do you try to hi the ding all he time and account for the win that way

Little bit of both. Depends on a number of factors. How much wind, what direction is the wind and is it a straight fairway or dogleg into or with the wind, whether or not you want that wind to move the ball.

So you can see it's not that simple of an answer.

But yes, best to miss into the wind, but not always, again not simple.

Everyone plays different...I personally move the pointer to allow for wind, then try to ding every shot except in Uneven lies.

I didn't say it was any use.....( I know when I've missed the ding :D )

    ....just answering your question. ;-)

Some of my better scores posted are with the lowest amount of dings. I would like the meter stats more if it separated out the putts vs all other clubs.

With the exception of putting, I try to ding most shots, if I miss ding, want it to be against the wind. My problem is that I tend to miss ding on the wrong side of where I intend to miss. LOL

when I said what good does that do , I was taking about the meter stat itself, I look at it and it has zero's at both ends then like 2 sevens a 10 and a19 in between , or something like that so its still confusing as to what it is saying

    You see it here:

People are thinking of the game,

people are talking about the game,

people are mentally occupied by the game - best chances that they keep it in mind and return.

Q is not, what good, but whose good?

It is just giving you information that you can pay attention to or ignore as you please.

If you had as described 7,7,19,10 that could mean (depends where they are) 7 times you were very early, 7 times early, 19 dings and 10 times late. Or 7 early, 7 dings and lots late and very late.

I'm not really interested in how useful you think it is, just trying to help with your confusion.
