ball moved

  why has my ball been moved.

  having played a chip onto 10th at oakmont to leave an uphill left to right............

  i find when i'm moved to my putt the ball has been moved approx 8 ft so that my putt is now uphill right to left. i have pictures but wont bother uploading them yet.

  It's quite possible that the ball hadn't stopped rolling yet. Sometimes you see this when the ball is on a slope and it's barely moving but then picks up speed. Oakmont is notorious for this in some spots.

  the chip was from the front right rough near the bunker. the ball went passed the pin and the it only goes one way from there. this should have left an uphill left to right. when standing over the putt i'm now closer to the front of the green with an uphill right to left.

   

  pin is front right by the way
