I notice that on WGT events in stroke play that they offer single round, multi-round and unlimited. Yet in Country Club tournaments you can only do single or unlimited. I would like to suggest that multi-round tournaments be offered to country clubs so that they can offer their members multiple postings, but keep someone from trying 10 times to win an event which is borderline obnoxious!
Also, there are still only 4 courses for stroke play for club tournaments. Is there any chance that Congressional and possibly St. George's is going to be opened up to country club options for courses for stroke play. The CTTH is given that courtesy, for some clubs and owners who make stroke play a bigger issue, it'd be a great help!
One last thing. Trophies. My club is set up so that 4 trophies are specifically for "our" major's leaving just 3 trophie's for our weekly events (18 hole, 9 hole and CTTH). Is there any chance that any additional trophies may be added in the future so it doesn't seem so redundent. For my club free tournaments are about all my members will play so credit tourney's don't matter to them. We have gone so far as to offer prizes to our members (buying clubs, balls, energy drinks, etc). but with getting free credits harder now then when I started it's getting rough to keep up that luxury for my members.
Thank you!
