    Hi guys

I'm looking to change my wedges and saw in high levels, is not much short game wedges to choose (I mean 50 yds)

    Because I use 3 wedges: 95 - 77 - 50 yds and want to expand to 105 - 80 - 50 yds

    But High Callaway wedges is 115 - 100 - 75.

So... Is good to use a 60 or 75 yds wedge for short game or  wait until MAX Meter 64° Wedge (L91+) and keep 50 yds?

Thanks in advance for help :)

Get a 50 yds or a 60 yds wedge as the shortest one - anything else gets my strong dislike!

I like the TM 50 yd wedge.  I use it a ton around the greens, can use in "normal" shot mode (not pitch or chip or flop) very accurately from about 20-50 yds.  I find this more reliable for me, but sure others do something different on those shots.

The Cleveland 64-degree wedge punches to 50 yards (full swing = 60 yards). And at 50 yards, use the spreadsheet at this thread:

It's like having a half dozen more clubs in your bag. The club is a weapon to be reckoned with. :-)

So, if you were to get all three Clevelands (when you get to those levels), your spacing would be 60-80-100. If I recall correctly, punch shots are 50-68-84.

Pay attention to the gaps in yardage between your wedges and factor punches in to fill the gaps. Then decide which way to go. IMO, the CGs do it best with an even 20 yards between wedges. You definitely want to have a 64W no matter what you do.

My real problem and the reason why I want to update my wedges is because I'm not very effective at hitting the ding, so I want to put all my clubs with the same speedometer (4-4.2).

My budget for games is not very high, so I'm going to help me using the GI2-S Balls and hopefully this will improve my game. Distances and spin are not really my drawback, so I can manage those without expensive balls for now.

I will also learn to punch because I have never done that kind of shot in my life and I do not really know when it is time to do it ...

In this order of ideas and taking into account all your help, I go for 100 - 80 and keep my 50 yds until I have enough level for a better 64º. I have a gap there, but I've lost more yards because of bad shots by not hitting the ding, than by bad calculations of wind and distance ...

    I have opted for now:

    Callaway Mack Daddy 56 ° Wedge (L67 +) (100 yds)

    Callaway Mack Daddy 60 ° Wedge (L68 +) (80 yds)

About the short game, the Cleveland 588 64th Wedge (L80 +) (60 yds) looks great, when I get to that level I'll try it.

Thank you very much everyone for your help :)

That 80 punch cuts the gap in half, that's when you use it.  :-)

Most top players use 100,80 and 60yrd wedge sets, Cleveland being the best option.

TaylorMade 50yrd wedge is also used by a few top players as is the MacDaddy 100yrd wedge - used as a substitute for the Cleveland 100yrd wedge because the MacDaddy has a slower meter.

The 60yrd Clevo is a weapon, as someone else has stated. Master that club and you'll shave shots very quickly.

The Clevo100yrd wedge will hit to 108yrds full topspin, neutral breeze. The 80yrd wedge will hit to 87 full topspin, and the 60yrd wedge to 64yrds full topspin.

Depending on the shape of the green and the strength and direction of the breeze I generally play full shot wedges with a touch of topspin.

    Cheers

With Starter wedges, the punch is just a poor shot unless you really dig it. Low trajectory, low linearity in reduced power and low range of useable power (like 100 - 75 %) make it difficult to use.

A punch with a good wedge (and a good ball) is almost like an additional club with shorter yardage - it allows for the use of the full meter on shorter shots, and the roll remains short, too. Three wedges are six clubs!

Some have also discovered additional advantages on special shots (but not me, unfortunately).

Actually using all 5 shot types chip, pitch, flop, punch and full 3 wedges are 15 clubs, And the roll on the Cleveland 64 degree when punched with full backspin is nonexistant. Normally this shot just hops and stops.
