  lonnie, Here's why I stocked up: 1) Often, when WGT issues a new product, there are glitches that take time to sort out. 2) I'll use all those balls anyway, so what's the harm?

  Theres no harm and not saying there is . All Im saying is that for those who act like the ball change is something new . As far as a new product other than the Titelist there was nothing new . Like I said it was just a graphics change with the Taylor Made balls as a new ball replacement .

  Both times when WGT stated they were going to remove the Nike balls , they encouraged the players to stock up . So the first removal didnt happen which was a scam on their part . This time the change was nothing but a ball re-brand again after encouraging players to stock up . So for players to act like its a surprise  that the T/Ms play just like the removed Nikes . Yeah they do because thats what they are , the now removed Nike balls . :-)

  The 81 TM-the closest to the 71 Nike there is. I also went back to look at the 71 Nike to see if anything changed and that's when I noticed the difference-the 3 4 and 5 carry numbers went down! 

  I haven't cleared my cache in a long time and that will be the next step in trying to confirm the change.

  There`s a very good reason for that . Its called a graphics change and its nothing new . All WGT did was change the brand name and picture and nothing else . They did it with the Callaways a few years back and also with the Nike club removal as well . So now you know which ball to go to once you run out of your old nike balls .

  This is why there was no reason to stock up on the Nike balls . All that did was make WGT`s pocket fatter , since all they did was re-brand the Nike ball . So no you arent going senile , you just got played by WGT as did many others who fell for the stock up ploy .

   

  Wish I'd stocked up on the Nike Level 90 ball.  It's Taylormade clone now sits at Level 95 so if they hadn't upped the level (by a lot),  I'd tend to agree with you.  Can't understand why I need to level-up approx. 2.4 more levels to get the same ball specs I've been playing with the last year or so.
