Callaway in the pro shop

  Hey guys,

  Does anyone know if WGT is going to get Callaway clubs in the pro shop? Not that it really matters but it would be nice to equip my virtual player with my favorite brand.

  Your favorite clubs huh? Well my favorite clubs are Taylor Made. I started out buying all Taylor Made on here, until my buddy told me about the Ping Rapture clubs. I bought them and played with them and I played a lot better. Just my two cents worth. Good Luck to ya!!

  I just want my avatar to use the clubs I use in real life,  Callaway FTiQ and X-22 clubs. I prefer Callway to TaylorMade. And Titleist to Ping, although I haven't played with Pings but I guess it is just perception of the brands that sways me.

  Anyway, just my two cents. And hopefully WGT will get some other brands in the Pro shop.

  It would definately be a boost to see more variety in clubs. I am perfectly willing to spend 20 - 30 bucks on an upgrade, but I am skeptical about the current selection and would prefer a more diverse range. Any idea on when the next clubs will be released, they keep mentioned "coming soon!"

  Those Big Berthas show up in the pro shop and I'm not only getting them I'm going looking for the Tibster.... (but he would have to use starters, play the blues and click lefty!)

  In real life golf the Callaway Big Berthas made the biggest change in my game more than anything I've ever done. Drawing an analogy to this game, it was like going from starter wedges to the Satin wedges-that much of a difference. The club's job is to hit the ball. Your job is to swing the club and let the club work. Big Berthas make this sinfully easy if you can just swing the club. Swinging the club is another story...........

  So here's what I'd like, please.  Callaways with Taylor accuracy and Ping forgiveness. No, make that starter forgiveness, and a meter that steps the way to the ding in 1 sec increments, exactly.  tyvm.

  It would be nice to have all brands in the pro shop so that you could equip your player with the sticks that you play with.

  What about the Mizuno range of clubs? The MX and MP range would be a great addition. The MX-200s are my favourite clubs in real life and would defininately pay for those here in the virtual world!

  All any company would have to do to get their clubs in this game is sponsor WGT. [as long as WGT has not assured the other manufacturers (Taylormade,Ping,Snake Eyes) that this will not happen].

  So my advice if you want to see your brand here is, write and e-mail to your favorite company and tell them how much exposure they would get if they gave WGT some money.

  How about sponsorships? Every master would have some kind of sponorship, whether it be a lower level sponsorship(a sleeve of balls per month) or higher level sponsorship( free clubs). Also, the player would be able to choose the company that they are sponsored by but that means they want free clubs they would only have that company's clubs. WGT would determine how many masters get sponsorships based on a stroke play rankings list that is something like TallAcePaul's list.
