Strange goings on at Oakmont or me an idiot

  I was in Ready go at Oakmont now, i was -4 on the 9th, i layed up short of green, i was now 28 yards to pin.  I decided to use the 25 yard pitch shot, i aimed, gave it full power, but missed ding by a cm to right, with the slope of green i thought ball will well turn right and mess up. But before anything happened, the game froze as i let go of mouse.  I waited for a while because sometimes it takes a few secs to respond, but i got the usuall screen sayin "unexpected error, please close browser".

  After a few unsuccesfull attempts to re-load, i managed to get back to game 10 minutes later, and found myself on the tee of hole 10 with a score of -5

  what the hell?? I thought something strange was going on, and even sent a bug report, explaining what had happened, and that i went from -4 at the 9th to being -5 at the 10th tee, with the game frozen before my shot had done anything on 9.

  What an idiot, it hadn't occured to me maybe my pitch shot had holed out, because holing a pitch shot is very rare on 9 LOL

  I have the same issue at the moment  with a different tournament. kia just bird 7th hole & keep getting taken back to the 6th tee of hole.

  Did the normal things cleared flash etc etc.

  Sent icon a msg.

  Have had the same thing happen many times (I mean freezing up, not holing out at Oakmont 9!), manifesting itself as a load error. Sometimes when I get back to the game the shot (good or bad) was registered in the game but in other cases I have to take the shot again. The replay is not available on the menu, however, so I never see what the shot really looked like.

  Yep, happening to me to....game freezes and close with an 'unexpected error'. Sta R/go..I was +1 after bogey on the 2nd... games freezes and boots me off. I had trouble logging in again, but eventually restarted the R/Go and hit 5 birdies in a row...lol. Very Strange.

  It's also strange that  your profile activity report did not report the hole out on Oak #9 as the report normally would show something like: 

  chrisironsbones holed a shot from 28.24 yards.

  And it doesn't.  Weird.

  And it doesn't.  Weird.

  You couldn't replay last shot either to see what had happened.  I got cut off so many times in game, i got withdrawn by the 13th, then maintanace screen appeared.

  Another strange thing, i entered 2 ready go's in the tournament section, Oakmont & St Andrews, i pressed the link for St Andrews as i wanted a nice easy round for my first game, i was taken to the screen where it shows a picture of the course and conditions, i clicked play, but when game loaded it was OAKMONT!.  This happened yesterday aswell. Clicking on St Andrews first, and entering tournament, then usually tourney willstart automatically, but i usually go back and enter more.  I entered congressional yesterday, went back to the open tourney screen clicked to play St Andrews, then got taken to Congressional.  This might be some sort of bug, and is a pain if you have left your wood at home thinking its St Andy's with low winds.

  Wont be doing it again, will play St Andy's as soon as i enter there from now on.
