And the irons are Med/High flight so they won't be doing much stopping without an expensive, high priced ball. Funny how that works.

+1 Looks like Top Golf plans on sucking the life out of the newbies as well as some better clubs for the multi`s .

When WGT first introduced the Callaway touri balls at 250 and 300 a sleeve many players complained about WGT being greedy. Now those same balls are considered a bargain.

Not by me! But that's classic pricing strategy - offering a gold-plated option not necessarily expecting anyone to buy it, but it makes the other expensive item seem reasonable in comparison.

will be interesting to see these clubs in the SOTW and even a SOTW Clash if they are bold enough to try that again!

I agree the elite players don't necessarily need better equipment but the "old guard" and top players also are most likely to have the most credits to burn so offering something even marginally "better" is going to move a lot of equipment and you would think Titleist would want their clubs in the bags of top players on WGT... that tends to be what draws the attention of lower tier players hoping to move up.

I mean really does Titleist care if a bunch of hacks are carrying their clubs?  They sponsor top players on the PGA tour not high school kids...so if none of the top players on WGT carries a single Titleist club what kind of name recognition are they getting?

Know it can be viewed multiple ways but hard to know what difference it will make.

Perhaps there are more club releases coming down the pipe.

As opposed to all the doom and gloom.  I mean how dare they release clubs that I wouldn't necessarily use.  The nerve.

Isn't that why you can get a Titleist ball, at 975 credits, at level 0 ?

You make a great point there, if it's all about sales, and provenance,  then they should have better equipment for the top tiers, and levels. So many people couldn't wait til they were able to get the nikes, and I think lots of players would look to see what the better players are using. But then again that would make too much sense.   Lol
