  G'day,

  Les and I played our match today. Was all good through the front 9 but Les had VEM issues on the back 9 hitting good balls but deviating of line.

  Hjalmer, you've been given a bye into the next round where you face Priestess...lucky you :) lol. That wraps up the second round, 3rd round is under way and needs to be completed by Fri the 8th, 1 week from today. Good luck to everyone remaining in the competition!

  Well played Andrew fully deserved win, i noticed you too had a few deviations too but you handled them better than me today. Was great catching up with you again mate good luck in next round and thanks for the match.

  Finished an incredibly close match with Woodsy747, only 4 holes were won outright during the first 18 holes.

  We both finished with solid rounds of 61 and then it was on to extra holes.

  We both birdied the 1st

  At the 2nd we were faced by a tricky 18mph L->R wind, i hit my approach first to 11ft right of the back hole location. Woodsy then unluckily caught the back of the ridge and ended up on the back of the green. He narrowly missed his chip and I made my putt.

  Just finished my match with Shane (Fortesque99). Great player and even better guy. I got really lucky with the wind throughout the match. Shane hung in early with some stellar putting, but by the time the back 9 rolled around, my putter had warmed up. I ended up winning 4&3.

  Thanks Mike. Yeah I started well, but missed putts from close range on #7 & #8 really hurt.

  Probably wouldn't have made much difference to the result - tough to beat someone who gets 3 eagles in the first 12 holes !!!

  Well played and all the best in your quest to "have a crack at becoming legend after this tournie is finished " ...........  see u from the back tees soon ??

  Why did Hrvang advance?  He wrote me a while back saying he was going on vacation/holiday and that I'd hear from him when he got back.  I never heard from him since
