imcoola and I had an intresting round, which was temporarily interrupted at #12 by WGT crashing on us and we got a message saying neither of us were able to continue. Strange.
I won #2 and #3 to take an early lead. Chris actually lost a ball on #2 on his second shot after an errant drive. I made a stupid good putt for birdie on #3 from about 10 feet, while he lipped out. We half 4 and on #5 it was my turn to make a bone head move and putt with the wrong meter on a good look for birdie - which turned into a 3 putt.
He hits it to within a foot on #6 while I had a ~12 footer - which I drained. We half 7 and 8 and I lose 9 with a bogey after driving into the bunker. I'm actually feeling good about being AS here, as the front is weaker 9 for me.
He lips out on 10 and is left with a 7 footer (OUCH!) I had knocked it to within 3.8 feet and I'm now 1UP again. 11 is halved. 12 we halved after basically playing it twice.
I sunk a clutch 28 footer for birdie on 13 to half the hole. 14 is halved with pars and I take 15 after he leaves his birdie try just short. I make another 12 footer @ 16, continuing my hot putting. I missed the green at 17, he makes a birdie to make it interesting, But I seal it with birdie @18 after his chip shot doesn't find the hole.
