Which is your favorite Titleist ball?

  I’m looking for a new ball (Titleist), specifically L73 vapor. Since I can’t find review, thought I ask you guys..Input please..thanks

  I use to play with the L90 Nike black. Since they were removed I tried a few different balls and found the L70 Titleist reacted the closest to the black Nike's

  Yeah, I was looking at that too, with 4.2 spin. 975 credits

  I've been using them since their release.  Once you get really used to them after a week or two it's hard to imagine any ball can compete with them.  If I had to use one word to describe, "sensitive".  Gives a ton of control but if overused can lead to some frustrating days.  The Nike balls mentioned are/were great..I still have one left.  The Titlelists are noticeably better IMO.

  I found the best ball ( Titleist ) that works for me. Would not change it for anything they have in the pro shop.

  Just to piggyback on your thread...anybody tried the L40 or L57 Titleist?

  I’m using Titleist L42. Like them a lot, bought a truck load-:)

  Yes, I'm on the 40s now, Mark. I played the 81TMs for a month and then went to the 40s for comparison. Not a note-taker and there's nothing scientific about the research, it's all play, all over, mostly AS.

  I noticed an immediate difference with the Titleists and my first impression was that they were the Nikes I used to use--the 71s. Where the TMs played like they were made of cotton, the Titleists act just like the Nikes used to. There's .5 less spin with the same 5.0 distance. The TMs were 5.0/4.0.

  I like the 40 Titleist and I'm almost over the gagging at the cost.  ;-)

  Ditto that about the Titleist 40s. Very consistent ball, easy to work with for predictable results. The higher level Titleists are excellent balls, but the 40s are just fine at a lower price point.

  Based on the posts here, I guess the next sleeve I'm going to purchase are the Titelist Level 40 balls. I'm now very curious to see how they play.
