    Hey guys.

I am trying to get three new wedges along with the G10 master iron set( PW 115).

But i really can't make my decision between Satin and Ping...

So i narrowed it down to two choices

    Satin: 50, 77, 98  or

    Ping:  60, 85, 100

Could you guys give me some suggestions ( it does not have to be above two choices)?

    Thanks

If u're about to buy level 59+ G10, then u have the level sufficient for the higher level pings - 60degrees / 85yds  and 56degrees / 105yds. I used these wedges along with Satin 50yds and it worked well, so i can recommend this set, especially  if u learn to use the punch shot with the pings. Im not sure but the higher level pings should have better spin, higher trajectory and better precision than the lower level ones (I assume u meant he latter in your post).

I got the Pings for 60, 75 and 90 yards and love em. I can stop house balls on a dime with them. Also I have not seen a bad review on any of the ping wedges but see negative reviews on the Taylor Made wedges all the time. Also when you get to higher levels you will need to upgrade your other clubs and I noticed the L60+ Ping G10 Set  includes the 85 and 105 yard wedges so you may want to hold off on the longer wedges for later if you decide to upgrade the full set. 2 more levels and I will be doing just that myself.

The link below is an old chart but helpful for determining club ranges.

I wouldn't buy Clevelands yet, until you can get the top ones I'd stick with the Taylor Made Z's at level 38 & 39. They're less than half the price of the Clevelands you can buy at your level and have the same stats.  Since you'll probably get the better ones when you can (and you will, they're brilliant) I'd save yourself some money now.

IMO the absolute best deal in the Pro Shop are the Satin wedges. For 650 credits you can have wedges that will take you all the way to the Legend tier. There's 15 different yardages with all the shots and you will be covered from 98 yards all the way down to 6 with more spin than you'll ever need and even better forgiveness.  GL

Both the Pings and the Satins are great clubs. I went with the more accurate Pings but later added the 64 degree Satin. It all comes down to what you feel more comfortable with. more precision or more forgivness and spin. But if you use something like the Callaway s ball or the SRixion spin ball the the extra spin may not be needed as much.

Satins are great, but I would rather get the 50, 77, 93. The G10 PW punches to 98 yards, so you have covered that distance.
