  That is not true at all. Each course has a rating and harder courses like Bethpage factor differently than Kiawah. My average is around 65.5 and I just started playing Bethpage. I shot -2 on 18 and my average dropped .1. I played again and shot -2 and it dropped about .08. If I shoot -2 at Kiawah my avg goes up.

  BD: That's not because Bethpage is "harder" than Kiawah. That's because Bethpage is par 70 and Kiawah is par 72. A -2 on Bethpage is a 68, while a -2 on Kiawah is a 70. So far as we know, the averages are based on raw scores, not net scores against par. As a raw score, a 68 is better than a 70.

  1) How many Legend rounds have you played?

  2) you better talk in scores when it comes to the average. Both are 62s.

  I see two possible reasons:

  - due to so many rounds in the mix and the ave. so close to 62, the influence of one 62 score may be in the tolerance of the two-digit display. 1/300 is .0033, you'd only see a move at every second entry, .0067 breaking a rounding margin,

  - If you're above the 400 rounds limit, one 62 might have replaced the last score above, the other being meaningless,

  For amateurs, yes, but we play as pros - no rating, only raw scores as said before.
