Yardages on the Scorecards and Hole Info are 100% wrong.  This has been the case for 2 to 3 months.

Scorecard indications may deviate from the tees' actual distance to the pins. It's commonplace on real courses, and it has been true in WGTland from the start of stroke play games.

Use the blue dot on the mini map for accurate distances.

It’s my belief that the yardage on a score card is from the tee box to the center of the green.

True - from a certain spot on the tee box which ( in Germany) is marked with a seal of the Golf Union.

The tee mark itself will usually differ, and the pins are all over the greens. Therefore, the actual distance will usually deviate from the scorecard.

In WGTland, diverse concepts have been used over the course of time.

I'm reasonably sure he's referring to the mobile platform. And he's correct. The yardages have been way off for the last few months. It used to be that the scorecard yardages reflected the actual yardage for each hole.

Here's a link to a post I made, with screenshots, in a thread where this was previously discussed.
