  Hello friends. I wrong in my earlier post. Sounds like we will be running a Clash this week to make up for the one missed last week.

  The funny thing is that a lot of these players who say it's a WGT moneyspinner and complain are often those very same players who are using 500 credit + balls!

   

  What gives?

   

  Some moneyspinners are more equal than others it seems.

   

  It's the price of a bottle of beer where I live for 5 passes, so probably a bottle of beer for 10 where you live.

   

  Again, what gives?? 

   

  And to the other guy about playing solo - you're playing in a TEAM - if your CC is organized it will be running a clash thread on its forums giving updates and instructions at any one time like: we need a few more scores in this one, or back off this one nobody has shown up for them.....stuff like that - it's the most un-solo mode of play on WGT this side of alternate shot, even in multiplayer you are just doing it for yourself - THIS IS FOR YOUR TEAM FOR HEAVENS SAKES!!!!

   

  WHAT COULD BE MORE REWARDING THAN PLAYING FOR 'YOUR TEAM' AND THE TEAM PLAYING FOR YOU?? Too many self-serving golfers completely missing the point of clash play as far as I am concerned.

   

  IT'S NEW TO ME AND I THINK IT'S THE BEST THING EVER ON WGT AND IT IS ALSO CHEAP TO GET INVOLVED FOR YOUR T.E.A.M. - you get bragging rights over your arch rivals and everything, it comes with beer - it's crossing golf with football (UK and the world call it football, US is gridiron get used to it!!), it's terrace culture, one-upmanship.....it's just too good!!!!

   

  

   

  1-2-3....T-E-A-M....c'mon you can lose the self-serving if you really try hard!!

  Drinking that ice cold beer!  and not having to play in 20 to 30 mph winds, that act like 50 to 60.

  To many issues in the game right now to have a clash.... Just fix the issues and quit worrying about the clash

  Lovely. The only people happy about that are the Georgians. They enter a team in PaulFinn's World Cup, stink the joint up and then, in the Plate round, this is the answer one of them gives to my player trying to set their match up...........

  Like you Jim alot of us recognize The Georgian for what they are .....

  Put everything on hold for the chance of the Golden Putter, and duck out of playing in Paul's World Cup which is way above the Clash in stature and organisation
