Why is the "caddie" so stupid

  Why does the caddie always default to one club higher than needed? If he/she was real they would be fired! Comments?

  Soooooooo  fire your caddie..It seems they always default to the next higher club for some reason. I think it has to do with adding yards for elevation, wind-age, ect.

  Or does it have something to do with WGT messing with your head? I've noticed that the more beers consumed = more forgetting to check the club = more lost balls.

  This isn't the PGA. These caddies have not spent years recording every shot on every course. They do not walk the course at 5 am to check pin placements and record yardage. I keep my caddie because he is a friend, dumb as hell but still a friend. This is his last year and then he will go to work as a greeter at Wal Mart, or ballast on Lizzies yacht. SM needs an anchor for his submarine, and Canine needs a tackle dummie for his dogs. Do you have as many career choices as a caddie?

  Twice in the last week, I have had 9.5' putts, and the caddie is showing me the 90' meter on my Rossa putter.
