Hi, I am very new here (20 days) And i have advance to Tour Pro now and i dont feel i should be this far already!  I think we should be able to choose when we move up that ladder. I am no were near this advanced at this game.

I know why were moved along so fast. So we spend money but given the option to stay at pro amateur longer would be a benefit to us in the future. Some people can move on pretty fast i am just not one of them! I dont even have a clue as to whats going on here let alone move on more!

    Thanks

Actually, the reason for tiering up players has more to do with preventing sandbaggers than the generation of revenue.

You're right where you're supposed to be, you got there by your ability. You're meeting the challenges.  Keep advancing, you'll eventually level off and really be where you're supposed to be.

Stop spending money on equipment then.

Obviously playing with poorer equipment will mean higher scores and therefore you will not tier up as quickly, giving you more time to learn the game.

What you are doing now is getting the best you can but as you level up better will become available and you'll want to upgrade and that will repeat many times.  If you wait you will get to a level where you can get clubs that will be good for a much longer time (plenty of threads on that if you search).

Congrats to your tremendous catch, and to the recent promotion!

    Correct!

And you supported your promotion by spending on fancy clubs!

At your tier - TP - you might play quite well with the Starter equipment, while your better equipment will soon lead you to Master tier, and one tee box further back. The only chance that I see to avoid that happening is NOT to post any score of 33 (or better) over 9 holes or 67 (or better) over 18 holes. And, do NOT to win any credits in tourneys or matches!

The other POV is to accept the promotions and the following spendings as an investment in the fun of the game - much better IMHO!!

    Two tips:

    - Negotiate for a less expensive ball, e.g. Tour-SD or L11 Srixon or...

    - Don't buy CC passes - your CC will fare well without such waste of credits!

    Have fun!!
