Tournement Question

  I'm kind of new so sorry if this is a dumb question- I joined about a week ago, I'm at level 28- entered an 18 hole tourney at St. Andrews cost 100 credits).  Shot 72, then looked at scores and opponents-Yikes!  most of the players were level 50 or much higher- I thought I read that tourneys would place you with golfers of similar abilities?  Can you explain how I can enter tourneys and know I will play golfers at about my level?

  Join a good country club. They should have games both free and paid, and for all tiers.
