    Hi there,

I was originally planning on waiting for the TaylorMade wedges to unlock, before buying the set. However I've now noticed these old Cleveland wedges have almost the same stats, and a higher trajectory.

Should I just buy this CG16 set instead? I know there is another Cleveland set at 995c but I'm not convinced they are worth the extra credits?

Does anyone have experience with either of these sets, or can offer me advice based on their stats?

    Thanks

I have only used the cleveland wedges and have nothing bad to say about them, but I do believe the other brands have a slower meter than the cleveland's

    Do that!

L40 is @27,715 XPs, you'll be there in no time.

These wedges are recommended up and down the road - grab them!

But, wait until L40 for the 60° and 64° items. They have 77 and 50 yds nominal length respectively, and you just need short wedges.

Learn the other shots, punch, pitch, flop and chip for the full bandwidth of lengths and types.

    Most of all: Have fun!!

For a beginning player, I think the ATV/Gorge wedges that unlock between L38-L42 are a fantastic value for the cost.  I'd wait for (and get) some combination of those.  I used those wedges for a long, LOOOONG time.  Probably until I was in the mid-L90's or so.

In my opinion, the Cleveland wedges around level 30 are absolutely worth the price. Those wedges are fantastic, even if pricey. You won't need to get another set of wedges until you reach level 80.

But if price is a consideration, which is often the case, then I agree with others who say wait for the TM wedges at around level 40.

Thanks everyone for the tips. I will see what my credits are looking like come Lvl40 and make a decision then. Probably rent a few out for a twirl. Thanks again.

In  my opinion i would go with the lvl 30 clevlands because they have a higher trajectory. When you learn them be prepared to pull the pin on approach shots or the flagstick will get in your way. The last set of wedges you will need is the level 80 clevlands. just remember on most shots dont put backspin on these wedges or they will roll off the green

I see you bought the 588 Cleveland 60 and 64 degree wedges, If I were you I would drop the hybrid and add the 56 degree Cleveland wedge as well. You would use it many more times than the hybrid and save many strokes.
