R9 has 5 more yards distance but a lower trajectory i.e. harder to keep in fairway.. Meters appear to be the same. I will be purchasing the G10 irons very soon.
Opinions would be appreciated. thanks
Opinion # 1 --------------> R-9
went from rapture to g10 and been happy with it. kinda hard to get used to that faster meter but got it tamed now. never tried the r9 but from what i've read, they are both in the same category.
my 2 cents
The L62 R9 is a great driver, the low trajectory means it gets blown about less and in the matches I've played with people using the G10 it outdrives it on all but a badly hit shot.
Of course, now there's a level 80 one I can get............
I had both and still use the R9.

With the lower trajectory of the R9 it is really 10 yards longer than the G10 not just 5 as long as you hit the fairway. It will roll much further than the G10 will. And even though it shows it to be much less precise than the G10 from my experience it wasn't all that much difference between the 2 precision wise.
r9 for me just drove a ball through the green at the 16th at st and.15 mph tail wind. 400yds pity it went into the rough behind the green
The R9 outdrives the R11 into a wind.
R9 no question,but the rubish u guys have been saying on the low trajectory, to make the club really work well u have to put backspin on, which makes it carry a long long way, ask this any gr8 player.

So a higher trajectory hits longer? That must be why my 3 iron doesn't hit as far as my PW. And you should see the ball fly when I give it a whack with my 64° wedge, 400 yards every time.
