Today I played a 3 man strokeplay at St.A and the game was going great for me, -9 score and 8 birdies in a row, no meter problems and a chance to beat my record of 11 birdies in a round until I got to the 14th par 5. I dinged the drive to the middle of the fairway and had 275 yards to the pin. 15 mph between 7 and 8 o'clock following wind, I thought 240yards 3 wood and take some off not to go over the green from past experience, I hit early to compensate (not too much) for the wind and sure enough through the green left of the pin but right of the big bunker behind the green at 10 o'clock.
37 feet to the pin into a between 1 and 2 o 'clock headwind, then the screen just went black as I went to take my shot.
Try as I could I couldn't get the screen back. Tapping the spacebar, clicking the mouse etc. etc. it just wouldn,t come back. It would just flicker now and again until I closed the page completely to try and get back in before my 90 seconds was up to no avail, I was too late to play on with my playing partners.They managed to play on and finish their round without any problems as I found out from a mail I got from them later.
Then I remembered that this exact thing happened before but I put it down to my computer, but as this is the 2nd time from the same spot it must be a bug in the system. When eventually I got back in I could finish my round but for some reason I was given a bogey on the 14th even though I played 5 shots only, I missed the birdie putt that I should have got.
This completely broke my concentration and I ended up -9 for the round, oh what could have been a great round, my best ever maybe? One thing for sure is my Tourettes is back with a vengeance, could you please have a look to see if you can find the problem I would much appreciate it.
