I just wanted to tell all of the players playing in the RSG Open and those of you who tried to qualify........ thanks.

It hit me today while I was leaving a post for someone that I have actually never stepped forward and said thanks to all the players playing and yet selfishly I have sat back and enjoyed the journey.

I want you to know what  a thrill it is to sit back and see the competition begin....as you qualify I ooooooh and aaaawww with you. As you post your scores I cheer, laugh, dance and sometimes I tear up for you because I know that it hurts when you feel you shot badly. Specially if I go to your profile and I see how many games you played trying to get there......and yet I smile for you in the end knowing that you are so strong that you just don't give up.......

So Thank you to each an every one of you that stood up to the challenge and played. Thank you to all of those who didn't make qualification but still stood up to even try. Combined together you have made it fun and exciting for people like me who are just quietly sitting back enjoying watching the competition.....

    Hugsssssss,

    ~Bootsie~

Thanks Bootsie for all your positive comments.

I played many many practice rounds and worked hard to qualify well in the Open.  Sort of ruined it with some bad play and worse luck today but at least I tried.

awwww you guys are all welcome ........trust me as a girl who lately can't hit the broad side of a barn if she was sitting her happy bottom on top of it.........but has proven to be able to nail humans and wildlife i respect what you guys have achieved...

I'm okay with people hiding behind the golf cart acting like they getting beer........it's when I notice their knuckles are white and they scream that it spooks me giggleeeeeeeee

    hugsssss

Great post Bootsie!!  You are always a breath of fresh air :)

Just finished second round of open... conditions are much easier and the windset for my round was as good as could be had.

Early congrats to whomever wins it, and thank you WGT for putting on another excellent tournament!

Yes, Im proud of 2 solid rounds, and 59 following a 65 opener had me jumping for joy you can believe it. I was on top of US open leaderboard for few mins before falling down to 4th place.

I don't post so much excitement in the forums as I feel inside, because everyone who made the cut is extremely talented. As more scores are posted, the creme will rise to the top as my 124 total fades down the rankings.

I was most proud of 1 putting 30 of the 36 holes and no 3putts. Not so proud of missing 10 greens in regulation. But yes, thank you, when I made my last putt and birdied 18, I yelped with excitement loud enough to wake the kids who came in living room to see if I was ok :D
