On the RG tourney's, the ST. A. green speeds are Tournament speed instead of Very Fast for Master tier.  On the other hand, the green speeds for Congressional are Very Fast like they should be.  Any comments as to why?  just wondering why we have to play tournament speed in a ready go when I'm not allowed the option to "practice" on tournament speeds.  The highest speed I can practice with is "very fast".

OR, is this something that was overlooked?

I can see that, but if I'm gonna be subject to tournament speeds in ready go's then I should be able to practice with tournament speeds.  The tourny I entered said Master and I "assumed" I would be playing what I normally play.  I was wondering why my putts were off and then I noticed the green speed.  I paid 100cr to pay and I did end up winning 45 of it back but it was something that was unexpected.  I know I should have noticed it, but I saw Master tourney and didn't think I would be playing anything other than what I was used to.

oh well...I'll make sure next time, but if WGT is going to put up tournaments like that with the Master label and tournament speeds, WGT should at least give me the ability to practice on those same green speeds.

    thanks...Roy

Legends are giving you a huge advantage off the tee. We are glad you can't practice on tourney speeds. :)

...just enter into any ranked multiplayer round with a legend. You will get to practice on tourney speeds, and possibly pick up a thing or ten from your 'practice' partner.

I understand what you're saying, but if you don't understand what I'm saying...then I don't really know what to say.  I'm not playing Legends in a Master tier ready go.  Your point is moot.  How many RG's have you played where you played a slower green speed?

And very rarely are you gonna find a Legend playing in a multi-player round with a bunch of Masters.

don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining and I did win some of my creds back,  I just don't understand the thinking behind it.

I recall that as a Master as well, but keep in mind, all your fellow Masters will be playing on the same greens.

Even as TM, you can't set up a practice round with Tourney greens.

And thereisno option for Legends to setup Championship greens either, we just have to pay our credits, enter the tourney and see what happens.

I suspect it's the same fro Pros/TP's too, not sure.

What you can do is go to the tourney's main page (not from the game client window), select "Open Tournaments" and see course conditions before hand.

Another thing to so, is set up a "scored" MP game, no credits won or lost this way, and select TM+ for player ranking.

you can set up a tournament in your country club and select tournament green speeds. One way of getting a bit of green speed practice.

You'll be more adept on them for when you move up to TM  as well.

A huge advantage that gets ruined by a low level driver :-(
