On the 15th tee on RSG in the 2nd round of the open and going not too badly ....like an imbecile i drives the ball it into the rough but has a decent enough lie so I goes for glory.
%%F*CK%%"% Whammo dings the shot clean into the far right bunker before the green and it was at that point i considered leaving the country,....however me sticks a wedge shot to the green. good shot? not so..it gets worse and the odds of me saving par are stacked heavily against me...and i'm 27ft on the wrong side of the rollercoaster green from the pin.
However us scot's guys apart from being famous heavy drinkers ( i don't really drink) and heavy smokers ( i only puff a little)....we never say die.
Anyway...here's my best par save to date i reckon considering the journey to get to that pin and it means a lot to me because it was made under extreme pressure in the open. :)
