Is there a big difference in the Cleveland CG16 64 ( L31+ ) and the  ( L80+ ) and is it worth changing to the L80+

    Thanks Gary

Like night and day, Gary. Yes.

The same could be said for the other CG wedges too. Very different.

The stats for the level 80 indicate it has more precision and more back spin than the level 31. So while there's not much difference between the two clubs...the (80) seems to be a slightly better wedge and seeing as you already have the 31 you could buy the 80 without having the headache of the learning curve.

If you ever have  a 7yd chip 13 inches down on tourney green, then you will truly appreciate the lvl 80 cleveland.

LOL-Way to go, Gary. Good move. A couple of quick references. Back spin into wind stands them straight up and knocks the distance down a lot. Chips, pitches and flops will stop a lot faster with back spin (they pitch great out of traps.) GL and HF.   :-)
