How do you play rated games, and raise Averages

    I want to know how play rated games, and be able not to screw up my scoring average.  Can somebody send me directions how to do this with ruining my scoring average.  I wouldappreciate the help.

    what do you mean by "be able not to screw up my scoring average". The purpose of rated games is to rank you based on your skill.
