  yes i did have to reply, they congratulate and   asked address to sent my prize at..... so i reply with my address and about 2 weeks or less i got the hat.

  email was from a person Jason Koblin   titled  USGA/WGT Tournament Prize....

  also i don't know how they would do it this year but last year i qualify for both tourneys but only receive one hat for SA tourney never got hat from Oack....

  Can you post his email address and body of letter?

  I 've either not received it or perhaps  deleted it by mistake.  

  I'd made the assumption that WGT would just send it to our home address on file. Never having won a prize before ,  didnt think to look for an email like that. If others have gotten them, mostly likely  my fault for not finishing process.  I will keep my eyes peeled for the STG open letter.

  Just searched junk, deleted and searched for usga/wgt jason koblin and tournament prize and I received nothing :(

  If I recall correctly zant won a USGA gift card in the US open sweepstakes, probably why he was already dealt with, just a guess...  Did you get the gift card along with the hat z?

  I'm prolly jumping the gun as the RSG Open just ended but are these the hats yall are talking about? If yes, I would greatly appreciate an e-mail addy as I haven't recieved anything as of yet.

  Here is the phone number for the USGA.  908-234-2300

  The person who answered the phone had no idea where to direct me but she made her best guess and sent me on my way. The second person never heard of WGT either and guessed that I probably needed to talk to the marketing/special promotions department. I was transferred there and got an answering machine. I left a message and am awaiting a return phone call. I will post here as soon as I get more info.

  Oh that could explain it.... I really wasn't looking for anything on a time frame, just figured whenever it came around it came around. 

  When Zant said he had already got an email, replied and got prize, I think it surprised a lot of us into thinking we had deleted or missed an email and someone, somewhere was waiting on  reply to get things in motion.

  Thanks for heads up Bollox n Bogey, will go back into "whenever it happens , it happens" mode :)

  Above letter that i did receive from them. I think BB is right,about the reasons i got mine so quick, but i only got the hat no gift card. WGT probably did forwarded my email  to USGA because of that gift card ,and  USGA made a decision they can get away with a hat lol.joking here!!!

  But i do think it's a main reason i got mine ahead of everyone in the wining group of people.
