    chrisironsbones:

This is what i got when i e-mailed my details to USGA:

I am currently out of the office. I will respond to your email upon my return. If you need immediate assistance please call 800-223-0041 or emailmembership@usga.org<mailto:membership@usga.org>. Thank you.

And for the open at R.St.George, you fill in the form for survey, is this right?

    Hi Chris,

I clicked on the link in an email from WGT concerning the Open @ RSG cap. It brought me to an online form requesting name, address, email address, etc.etc.etc. Upon completion, it said something like, "Thank You for using Crazy Monkey Surveys".... I thought this was pretty ridiculous and that I had possibly been duped out of my info. So... I write a letter to WGT to confirm that they actually used this crazymonkey company to acquire shipping info from the qualifiers. Sure enough, WGT confirmed to me that crazy monkey was used. So.. although not very professional, I guess all is well.

    Hope this helps,

    Speedy

    Hi Speedy,

thanks for the info! However, I am not sure I want to give such personnal info to an unkown company just to receive an hat!

I am OK to give it to WGT or USGA but what is that Crazy Monkey... The name is already ridiculous... Don't look very serious...

I don't understand why an email to WGT is not enough and why we have to use a third party company.

    Regards

Thanks for the info Speedy, I got the same email and was about to contact WGT since the Email used their name but not their normal logos and address.

I seem to remember that last year the Open hat was sent to a US company for distribution within the US and this is probably the same case this year, more than likely saves on shipping and handling.  I do think that WGT should publish in the news section to look out for the emails from this group and the USGA to redeem the winnings for those who qualified.

Did anyone actually receive their cap? I'm still waiting even though I sent and replied to all of the appropriate emails...

JC we are having the same conversation in the CC. A number of us have received a rule book and bag tag but no cap from the USPGA. No sign at all of the UK Open stuff. To be quite honest this is an absolute joke. What's the point in saying there is a prize when you have to sell your bloody soul to get it. WGT should get off their backsides and sort this out. Is there a prize or isn't there. This is so badly organised as to be unbeleviable, or do WGT not give a ****. Can see the reply already, Well its not our fault, well I am sorry but it is. If a client comes to me and says, why is my product 3 weeks late I do not turn around to them and say, well my supplier is rubbish, Why? because I chose that supplier and should be on top of them to make sure my client gets what he's paid for.
