It also depends on which distance meter you're using.  I think we all know that a 15 foot putt struck on the 15 foot meter goes a lot farther than a 15 foot putt on the 30 foot meter.

Putts outside 10 feet aren't my problem.  Last night I made 3 putts outside 20 feet, and missed 4-5 between 8-10 feet.  The 8-10 footers are killing me all of a sudden.  I'm sure it's at least partly psychological, but I also think something's gone haywire on the tourney greens.  A flat 7 footer struck at 9 feet should never come up short.. but I've seen it happen once a round lately.

... and then I shoot 60 in an RG on tourney greens where I missed nothing inside 20 feet... go figure...   Maybe I need one of them sports psychologists... do they do that for video games?  ;)

well, that didn't last long... In the first 6 holes on Oak I had 3 birdie putts between 4 and 10 feet and didn't hit the hole with any of them... I love this game....

LOL! Nope just a little scale that fits the size of the putter, yes the idea came from the cloth tape measure but it is no joke it works quite well.

I have to add my thanks to the OP. Wish I had read this 3 months ago when I started. Since reading it I have just done my very first round with no bogeys. Thanks ever so much for taking the time to write the original post.

PPS to the scale, easy to copy paste on paint and stretch as necessary

Well, while not tearing up the courses, I shot a 1 over on Kiawah and St.Andrews with the white "free" balls (.Ran out of the other balls so had to make do) Feeling pretty good about that.  :-)
