Sorry to disagree, but big companies are only about the money. I agree with the fact that disgruntled people will always be sounding off, and no one listens, but if everyone quit watching videos, doing surveys, and spending on equipment, for just a couple days, then they would absolutely listen to what we have to say. ( only because the money end got their attention) Problem is, getting everyone to stick togeather, never happen. Only time will tell here, if profits drop noticably, then wgt, will act accordingly, if they dont, then nothing more will happen.

With the glitch people were getting quickly to the better equipment saving itermediate upgrades.  As they were getting there much more quickly it was with less balls purchased.  Of course they could still avoid rungs on the upgrading ladder but then it'll take more time and more balls if they also want to rise in tier.

I think the loss of the sales in course builders and a few folk going off in the huff because wgt have fixed a broken part of the game should be covered.

That's fine that you disagree, but you're incorrect. Many big companies engage in a number of philanthropic efforts. Indeed, the numbers reach into the billions of dollars given back to communities. It would not be difficult to find a number of examples. Additionally, companies spend a tremendous amount of money on survey research and focus groups to determine what customers need and want.

Yes, the latter they do so to increase sales and make more money. So, again, yes, the motive is money. But companies understand the way to make more money is by listening to their customers. That their motive is money or profit does not negate the fact that companies care about their customers and what their customer think. For them not to care would be foolish.

If I'm wrong, then may I ask a few questions? I've read these forums for about 2 years, and it seems that the customers aren't important, if they do listen to us then, 1.we would have a new course to play, or at least different hole locations for current courses, but instead, we lost oakmont 2. Higher levels would have better equipment available, 3. Clash prizes would be different, and better. 4. Some better interaction between pc players and mobile. 5. Country clubs, at higher levels would recieve something better than, more to come, but never does. 6. Info on how someone can achieve the tour champion tier. And the list goes on, how long will the consumer have to wait, if they really listen to us? They won't even update the search info, according to that data, legend is the highest tier available, been that way for 2 years. Yes they are showing us that they are listening to us, and we are important, right? A side note, I once thought I was wrong, but was mistaken. :^)

They are getting there a whole lot quicker these days even without the glitch.

The op on the thread titled "Green Speeds" currently on page 1 here in the forum, for instance.

Joined 11 months ago and is Level 94.

With 5 ranked rounds, no alt shots, no MP's. No custom courses, no glitch awards. Do coin games actually move you up that much?

    @Luckystar5

Again, simply because players or users don't get everything they want does not mean WGT didn't listen. There may be issues that prevent them from implementing some requests. Regardless, to address your points:

    1. We are getting an additional course. Wolf Creek is coming. They said it would be by the end of the year. Whether they meet that promise or not remains to be seen. But it's coming. By the way, do you have any idea what it takes to create a course on here? My understanding is it can take a year. There used to be YouTube clip on the process, but I can't find it.

As far as different hole locations, this has been addressed many times in the forums. Yes, they would be nice. But since they haven't happened (after the issue being raised multiple times over the years) I have to believe there's an issue with implementing additional hole locations they have pictures for. Nevertheless, simply because they cannot implement something does not mean they didn't listen.

    2. Higher levels have received newer equipment. The equipment listed there has been introduced within the last year. They were introduced in June. Those clubs are plenty good enough.

    3. No doubt the clash has been neglected and is simply a cash cow for WGT. I'll give you that one.

    4. I'm not sure what you mean by better interaction. If you mean cross-platform play, I agree that it would be nice. But to criticize WGT for not having it assumes that it is technologically possible without introducing a lot of issues. Do you know that it's possible?

    5. Country clubs at higher levels did receive "something more." They are only listed as "more to come" on the mobile. For the updated list, you need to look at the PC version. It lists the additional benefits. For example, at Level 20, the XP bonus is 10% and the number of officers is 8. The only level that might not be listed for is Level 21. There is only one Level 21 club.

    6. They have consistently stated how to obtain Tour Champion tier. People just don't like the answer. It's by "invitation only." Nevertheless, I'll give you this one as well. They should decide on specific criteria and open up the tier.

Given that you're at Level 106 and the club you're in is Level 20, why in the world would you even be concerned about the glitch let alone purchase a Premier Membership to enhance it?

Seriously, I don't understand that at all. I suppose it's none of my business. But that just doesn't make any sense.

Well, I  find now that I'm definitely playing tourneys only half as much as I used to.  I used to pair a custom with a regular just before and just after the new wgt day in order to get EXP and CDP bonus for my club, on the off-chance we could get to Level 20 and that, by the time we did, it would have more benefits than an additional officer.  Fixing the glitch def put Level 20 out of reach, so now a custom course is just like a regular one -- no need to pair them up.  1/2 the tourney play, 1/2 the balls, etc.  More time for the social multi-player with my members.  So, for me, mostly a "win."
