Getting XP’s post glitch fix

  hi, I admit to having played the system with XP’s. Now that glitch is fixed , I am at a loss as to know whether we get awards at all. The down the drain awards etc, do they still pop up during or after a round. And if so what triggers them. I just played a pass on my first ranked club tournement of the day , but didn’t get any award pop ups. Is this normal now ? If anyone could shed some light I would be grateful, thank you Lesley

  Yes , That is normal .  You wont see very many awards from now on .

  i did not receive ANY awards when using a pass and the xp's gained for my club was ridiculous 

  so there is no advantage any more for using or buying a pass??

  Usually, they come when when the next counting number has been reached. For you, there's no progression available to a Diamond Down the Drain award, but, you're only 7 nine hole rounds shy of the Diamond Short Haul award!

  Thank you both. Maybe now we shall just go back to playing golf and stop wondering about XP’s and awards etc, afterall that’s what the real game is about ! As for the clash , nothing will stop me from playing them , I really enjoy them ! The XP’s were a sideline as far as I have been concerned , the competition and game format hasn’t changed , . The custom course builder prize was an incentive to get in the top 500 , but it wasn’t and still isn’t my driving force. Let’s just get back to playing the golf !

  On your profile page there is a tag for awards. If you open it you will see the various categories of awards with drop downs for each. Going further into each award you will find the requirements for winning each one.

  Maybe so bossbird.  However, this will mean much slower progress to Turf Wars and Clashes because the incentive to use SP is now gone.  This will mean fewer purchased SP, less use of balls, etc.  Can't see how WGT benefit from making the game less rewarding.

  As for the "glitch", it was in play for two years.  Must have skipped multiple fixes and upgrades to the game.  Why now?  How does making progression in the game more tedious benefit anyone?

  Thank you hack Wilson , I am aware of where to look to,find what awards I have. What C Everett and allosso say , is , we won’t be seeing them very often now ! This was the reason for my question , as playing ranked rounds with or without passes is no longer triggering the pop ups. Anyway , I shall just get back to playing my golf and not worrying about all this other stuff. Thanks Lesley

  Is there a chart showing number of XP generated by various formats?  (Stroke alone vs stroke with others, 9-hole match vs 18, 9-hole Alt vs 18)

  For some of my lower level members, they want to know how best to use their hour-a-day playing time if they need XP for certain equipment.

  alosso addressed this question in the other post, but the "best" use of their time to generate XP is to play EVERY day to keep the CDP bonus going.  You can play as little as 1 hole/day on PC and a 3-random-hole course (or one coin game) on mobile to earn the bonus and extend it.

  I did the 3-random-hole play for 2 weeks on mobile while out of the country to keep my CDP going.
