Beautiful course, but just a MONEY maker for WGT. Balls lost all over this course, some my fault but most just WTF shots.

Sorry to hear that mate.  Everyone else thinks it's great..................One in there had it in for you and spent the time coding your game like that, obviously.......Shocking!

Wolf Creek is the best and amazing course by far. Challenging shots around water is what makes  this game great, requires precision. Easy courses give good scores, and that what makes the game boring. I already lost 5 expensive balls, and it just makes me coming back  for more.

So far, I've played 3 times and have lost 1 ball. I simply misjudged the effects of the wind. As others have noted, it's a great risk/reward course. I guess it's too easy to focus on the reward part of that equation and forget about the risk aspect.

Entertainment costs money. Go to  a movie on Christmas day and you will pay. Get a Netflix subscription and you will pay. Get HBO and you will pay. Take an all inclusive cruise and you will pay. Play WGT golf and someone will pay for your internet connection, the balls you use, the clubs you choose and the beer you drink. So I agree playing Wolf Creek has a cost. So what?

I've played it twice off the back tees and haven't come close to losing a ball. In the 4 1/2 years I've been here I've found my own WTF shots are usually the result of this WTF golfer, not the course.

Disagree on some, I've lost two decent, half used balls.

Never had a WTF, WGT moment, it's just down to poor course management

    IMO

SWEET! I hope they make a ton of money so they can continue to offer us such amazing courses in such a fun game. I have played this course several times, and the only possible way I can see to lose a ball here, is to do something really stupid or totally mishit (note: I have done both and lost 2 balls so far).

Tee it back up and have some fun! You can always choose to play it a little safer.

Then you're very fortunate. While I agree that most lost balls are the fault of the player, there is no doubt WTF, WGT moments happen, costing balls to be lost. I've had a couple.

But my favorite one is from another player. I even bookmarked it. It's the first post in the thread below. Even though I know what's coming, every single time, I laugh out loud.

    Enjoy!

First day everyone had problems with the game . Server overload because everyone was trying to play the new course .I played it a couple of times in practice setting just to learn the course .

I would suggest that you do the same . Play a few rounds low wind practice just learn your way around the course . Start off using the rock so as not to waste a good ball , After a few rounds if you have them then use the promo balls from the free monthly`s . Then once you are comfortable with the course use your regular game ball .

The course is now 3 days old and the game has settled down or so it seems . It played well yesterday so it should play just as well today . Its still a new course and its a course that you will have to learn .

If you take the time and do so instead of just firing blind shots and hoping for great scores . Then by the end of next month , you should have no problem posting good scores or losing balls .
