PAULFINN52: i asked around al and the majority was the second shot so i went with it,it didnt matter to me either too be honest but its only relevant in the first round anyway,
I was one pushing for the second shot option. If one messes up a little on 2nd shot and ball moves a 1 ft or 1 yd, doesn't matter. If one messes up on tee and knocks ball off tee, the poor guy might be giving 2 shots effectively. (FYI, irrelevant in our 1st round match. Nobody is getting a stroke.)
I understand why advice from a 3rd party should be illegal. It is a rule in real world golf. But looking over players entered, 95% at least don't need it, and the advice is less important than the execution of the shot. For me, not planning to go on twitch, I am not even sure how I get advice in a timely fashion with timer.
