  Safdar vs FarFoo

  Very tough match with Safdar ended up with a 2 up win for FarFoo

  But for a lucky hole out from 68yds on hole 2 & forgiving wgt on hole 11 T shot which left birdie dead, we'd probably still be out there now

  Very well played Safdar & good luck in the rest of the tourney.

  "I lost 2 down.

  Gave an early 2 shot lead to Gary with a putt just hanging wide of cup and a one not hit hard enough.

  Fought back to level then he went 3 up with some birds and poor pars for me.

  I fought back to 1 down approaching 17 and fancied it but hitting late with L to R wind put paid to that....in bunker and all hard work ruined.

  I played some wonder shots when hitting ding and some "wonder why i did that" shots when didnt.

  Not happy other than Gary is a great man, a really nice fella and he played well........so that will do for me ;-)"

  It was a pleasure to meet you and play. Your hole out on the second hole really woke me up lol. There wasnt much between us but in a couple of crucial moments I played a bit loose and your puttting was really excellent throughout. A pleasure. Good luck in the next matches too.

  406 f1dget drew 72 wontonamo in our match

   

  great match and comeback by jay in this one!

  i was 3 up with 3 to play and somehow missed a 5ft straight putt on 16 to get jay back in the match

  all hell broke loose on 17 when my 2nd shot flew the green by 15y and my game went to pieces

  hole 18 jay stiffed his drive to 1y while 1 landed short of the green 11y and missed my pitch to draw the match!

  well done man - i felt like it was probably the outcome the match deserved!
