  I am new to rg tournaments, just a quick question. I thought they were tier based?

  I played in 1, am lying second with most of the games finished but noticed that I am surrounded by legends from 1st through to about 13th.

  Am I missing something here?

  only some are. the rest are open field. those that are tied to a tier, are specifically described as such... like legend oakmont front 9
