    BillyBarbary:

General Question folks.............How does anyone playing this game post a score of 50  as I saw in the Cadillac challenge? 4 Eagles and 18 birdies?

Seems unbelievable - even for a computer game that is meant to be realistic. Are these programs that do the scoring or are they real punters? Just love to know. Perfection is possible ------ but these low scores must be made with perfection + Long clubs + + inordinate amount of luck!

Very good players of the game, on shorter tees, using the best clubs.

eg; 1st and 3rd holes are driveable, 2nd hole can be reached in 2 shots with ease and so-on.....

I'm still trying to work out that 4th hole though...lol, gets me most of the time.

    Cheers

       Roger

For the players who score that who have been here less then a month it usually wreaks of bad things.......now......when it's players who have been here quite a while and are usually legends it is : Course knowledge, skill and luck (the right equipment doesn't hurt =) ) Trust me I have played with some Legends who I literally have asked if they were Jesus cuz they seemed to miss nothing and man the way they put the ball in the hole is so pretty and smooth...almost effortless at times.

A friend once told me that the reason he played so well was because his fingers are just use to what he has to do with each putt. To be honest , I really didn't quite get that but as I am learning I now see what he means....which is where course knowledge really comes into play. He's pretty much seen all the angles one would need to learn with putting so now it's based on how accurate his fingers are when that meter approaches the mark on it that he knows he has to hit to achieve the result he wants.

    That's my opinion .....

The cadillac is a different animal... unlimited play on an easy course ( mild winds, no elevation changes ) and from the easy tees......

It'd be like Phil Mickelson playing my home course in perfect weather from the ladies tees everyday for a month.... wonder what he would shoot!

    lol

4th hole in the Cadillac:  I tried to drive to the second fairway with prevailing winds, but left my drive out left badly.  I thought headed OB.  Hit the cart path, ricochet hard back right and ended up 128y from the pin in the fairway after my drive LOL.

    I don't recommend this method.
