I have to do this every time I log in (although I do not log off) - along with HIO challenges, focus boost, credit/survey offers and the bloody music/game settings. This is using Maxthon.

Yes I save the settings.....as useless as that is.

So - is this browser-related or settings for cookies, etc?  I use Chrome and never have to reset any options unless I want to actually change them.

(I had tried Maxthon back when there were a number of problems with jittery meters last year, but it was very annoying to me and Chrome worked fine).

On Maxthon, uncheck Auto Clear on exit. This is caused by cookies

Cheers Don, but sadly the auto clear is unchecked. and I seldom clear these unless I am having real meter issues.

I actually think it is a browser related issue, and occasionally get the "this browser is not supported" caption. It is no major problem, especially as I always have sound off and it is a few clicks to get rif of the top tracer thing.

You can make sure the flash storage is allowing cookies to be kept and make sure you have enough room.

If you are using CC Cleaner, that will delete them everytime also.

Flash does allow cookies and sufficient storage.....gain I clear flash caches only when I have serious meter issues or have a flash issue.

I don't have CC Cleaner installed.

I did try using different browsers, and they do save the settings....only on Maxthon I have an issue, but at least my meter is fine.....seldom hit the ding....but that is a different issue!

I was using Maxthon 4.7 and had to get a newer one. I was having all kinds of trouble with it.

I got the newest one and works good. But i have to clear it more often
