For a team to qualify for a participation bonus award you have to get 25% of the clubs members playing and you are awarded progressively more as you have 50%, 75% or 100% participation.
My question / suggestion is if it won't be more fair to apply the same for the other awards as well - meaning that a club will only qualify for any award if they have 25% participation. We encourage all our members to participate in the event and often play opponents where only one member participate and play one or two games to utilize the superpass. This is normally a highly skilled player that shoots 100% gir and a high % birdies.
A club can then compete the full 4 hours with 75% or more players against a player that made a short appearance and leaves and misses out on competing for some of the rewards.
This may also encourage clubs with low participation to get more players to take part in these events and will render the scoring much more fair.
